over TUIG
Met TUIG willen we een platform bieden aan lokaal illustratief en grafisch talent.
In 2019 hebben (illustrator en striptekenaar) Mila van Goethem en (grafisch ontwerper) Jens Dawn het project TUIG opgestart. Een 3 jaarlijkse krant met een oplage van 6000 stuks zomaar gratis mee te nemen. Er zit heel wat illustratief en grafisch talent in ons klein landje. Met TUIG willen we een zo divers mogelijke groep laten zien.
TUIG bouwt bruggen. Wil zoveel mogelijk samenwerkingen aangaan en de geordende chaos meenemen zodat er een walhalla van lokaal toegepast talent overal te bewonderen is.
Vandaag zijn we niet alleen een krant meer, maar is TUIG een festival, een podcast, een installatie en vooral ook een community van aanstormend en al gevestigd talent.

Het open veranderlijk team van TUIG stuurt samen het schip, zorgt voor onze community en heeft een passie voor de illustratie en grafisch ontwerp. Vaak zijn dit vrijwillige handen die mee vergaderen, maar ook het festival op poten zetten. Ook is dat team nu toevallig geweldig lokaal talent.
